FREELANCE SOCIAL MEDIA & DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER

This role would be perfect for a talented, marketing-loving yogi running their own yoga business who would love a consistent, fully remote additional revenue stream.

Responsibilities

  • Digital marketing consulting and planning for our agency clients

  • Leading the planning, creation and scheduling of organic content for Instagram

  • Client servicing via Whatsapp, email and video calls

  • Format emails and manage lists

  • Paid ad campaign management (training will be provided)

  • Support in the behind-the-scenes of our group programmes and online courses, including the creation of marketing content and support with launches

  • Edit and upload videos (for group programmes, client testimonials, podcast shorts)

  • Possible: podcast management (e.g. guest outreach, editing, uploading episodes, promotion via Instagram and email)

Skills/experience

Although the experience of the below is desired, most things within this role are teachable and I am more than happy to mentor and give the relevant training.

Essential

  • An interest in the yoga, coaching and wellness industry (and specifically a passion for the marketing and business side of things) Bonus points if you know my business or my clients’ businesses already!

  • Experience in using Instagram for business and content creation

  • Experience using email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Mailerlite etc

  • Proficient in the use of Canva to create graphics and assets for social

  • Able to work independently, take initiative and have good communication skills

  • A regular consumer of the content of yoga businesses and coaches (Instagram, online trainings, podcasts etc)

  • Be adaptable and enjoy that some of the role may vary depending on the offerings / clients that we are supporting at the time

  • Experience with website editing and copywriting e.g. creating sales pages

Desirable

  • Experience in managing the marketing within a yoga business scenario (your own, or someone else’s)

  • Knowledge of Meta paid advertising (even better if you have run ads before)

Pay and working hours

You will work approx 20-25 hours per month to begin with and the initial contract will be £22.50/hour on a freelance basis. You will be working completely remotely with the freedom to choose your working hours. Living in London or within easy access to London would be ideal, but not essential. This role is open for the right person to start immediately.
